Our NPLW Senior side have secured a place in the 2025 Night Series semi finals after a 4-2 win against UWA Nedlands at Dorrien Gardens last night.
The Azzurri had to come from behind twice in the first half and were down 1-0 after just two minutes when Chloe Rodrigo scored the first of her two goals for the visitors.
It was level four minutes later when the Azzurri equalised via an own goal, but UWA Nedlands surprised the crowd by taking the lead once again in the 22nd minute.
New Perth SC recruit Louise Tana made sure it was level at the break when she equalised in the 37th minute before the Azzurri closed out the game in the second half with goals from substitute Matilda Boehm in the 56th minute and Sam Mathers eight minutes from normal time.
Perth SC are now two wins from two games, along with Balcatta Etna, who we play next Saturday night (1 March) at Dorrien Gardens to decide the winner of Group B. Both teams have already made the semi finals. Kick off is at 8pm.
