PERTH SC BLIND FOOTBALL TEAM

Perth SC, in partnership with Blind Sports WA, has developed a Blind Football program in a groundbreaking activation in the inclusivity and all abilities space.

This program adheres to the ethos that provisions a safe space for players, families, carers, support workers and the community to connect through participation, specifically with persons enduring various degrees of vision loss.

The program is evolving from general participation into State level representation, with the intention to drive players upwards and onwards via the Paralympic pathway that leads into the Australian National team.

We’ve successfully run this program since its inception in 2022 along with the support from our sponsor APM.

Now three years later we’ve produced a blended team made from B2/B3 (partial vision loss) and B1(no vision) class players that all play together in a unified front.
