The two clubs will also work together on joint events and other activities for the mutual benefit of our members.
WA Italian Club President, Sal Vallelonga said it is a fantastic day in closing 2021 with the signing of an affiliation agreement with our Neighbours Perth Soccer Club.
“We officially welcome the Perth SC players, coaches, management and their families back to their second home,” Vallelonga said.
“The past few years, has seen us focus on welcoming a new generation of young members to the Club; and we are just so excited about having the vibrant and energetic Perth SC teams and their families regularly join us too”.
“L’unione Fa La Forza, United We Are Strong; and we can’t wait to embark on an exciting journey with our neighbours Perth SC. Forza Azzuri!” said Vallelonga.
Perth SC President, Jason Marocchi said it was great to reconnect the club with its spiritual home.
“Our club was born out of the WA Italian Club – we have a shared history, members and values and our futures are stronger working together,” Marocchi said.
“I’m continually reminded by our older members of the days when our players and supporters used to go back to the Italian Club after matches at Dorrien Gardens to celebrate an Azzurri victory.
“We look forward to celebrating many more triumphs and creating shared memories with our friends at the WA Italian Club into the future.”
